Raw salad for gut, heart & skin health

From the raw fruit & vegetables to the pickled ginger..this salad will have you glowing from the inside out. Great on a Summer day, super refreshing, light salad. Each ingredient picked for its flavour & rich health benefits. Add some chopped mint for decoration and to add another refreshing element.

Grate –

1 large beetroot/2 medium (leave skin on)

2 medium/1 large carrot

 

Chop –

1 large pear (small chunks)

Golf ball amount of pickled ginger (finely chopped)

Mixed nuts of choice (walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds etc)

 

Add-

Pomegranates (one packet or whole pomegranett)

Juice from 1 orange or dash of any fruit/vege juice (I sometimes add Barkleys Orange, Carrot, Turmeric immunity juice)

Black pepper

Optional: dash of Apple cider vinegar for extra gut health benefits.
